Jane Morey – Founder, Director
Founder, Jane Morey has an extensive and diverse career in PR, journalism, film & TV, sales promotion and marketing both in Australia and the United Kingdom. Prior to establishing morey media, Jane was the Time Inc. PR Director responsible for the company's corporate communications and the PR of it's portfolio of magazines that included WHO, In Style, TIME, Practical Parenting and Bride to Be. During that time, and later as morey media, she hosted exclusive premier parties for WHO and In Style magazines with Matt Damon for Bourne Supremacy, Susan Saradon for The Banger Sisters; Heath Ledger for Brokeback Mountain as well as securing national and international coverage for WHO’s Sexiest People Parties and In Style Woman of Style Awards. She has also worked on the LIVE Shows for Better Homes and Gardens in Sydney and My Kitchen Rules in Melbourne.
In her previous roles she has worked with Inter-Continental Hotels Group (Asia Pacific), NSW Lotteries and Yahoo! She has spearheaded a number of key high profile community awareness campaigns including the NSW Department of Transport 1999/2000 New Year Fireworks that were a test run for the Sydney Olympics; the NSW Pedestrian Council and its Walk to School and Work initiatives: South Sydney Rabbitohs Public Rally 2001 that sought reinstatement into the NRL alongside Ray Martin, Andrew Denton and other high profile personalities; as well as the See Australia Tourism Campaign with Ernie Dingo as the face.
Jane‘s experience is broad and has seen her develop a respect for the media, for what clients want to achieve and for the messaging of the brands she has the privileged to work on. It is this philosophy that is the guiding force behind morey media.
